Veerendrababu Nanjegowda works at the intersection of law, media, literature, and public policy — professions he treats less as separate careers than as one continuous form of public service. He holds an MBA and an LLB, is currently completing a PhD, and practises before the Supreme Court of India, the High Courts, and the National Green Tribunal, from Bengaluru Law House in Sahakaranagar and chambers in New Delhi.
He also serves as Legal Adviser to R MAXX Kannada News Channel and to Vishala Gruha Nirmana Sahakara Sangha Niyamita, publishes Kannada books under his own imprint, Bengaluru Law House Publications, and has written, directed, and acted in Kannada cinema. In recent years he founded the Karnataka Land Rights Movement and now serves as State President of the Rashtriya Janahita Party.

Rooted in Chikkaballapur district, shaped by two decades of practice, journalism, and public advocacy.
Born, with roots in Belluti
Family's ancestral home in Belluti village, Shidlaghatta taluk, Chikkaballapur district — the same district that later anchors his water-quality and land-rights advocacy.
Swayam Krushi released
Produced, directed, and starred in the Kannada film Swayam Krushi, alongside Rebel Star Ambarish.
Called to the bar, into the newsroom
Enrolled as an advocate and, that same year, became Chief Editor of the Kannada evening daily Mussanje and its sister channel V News24 — a newsroom posting that would run sixteen years, until 2025.

Karnataka Land Rights Movement & RJP
Founded the Karnataka Land Rights Movement (boomihakku.org) and now serves as State President of the Rashtriya Janahita Party, alongside continuing legal practice and a PhD in progress.
